To transpose to the screen the emotions that sees in the faces that she finds and that awakes her attention is what makes her a painter. The emotion and expressiveness that puts on their faces have been the delight of the audience.Helena Krug was not born painter but felt like she had inherited the artist genes of her mother who made ceramic sculpture. It was in the painting workshop held in early 2006 that she could lead to another level the scribbles and sketches of faces that she filled the margins of the leaves during the meetings. Attracted by the expressiveness and emotions of unknown faces found in newspapers, magazines, internet, ... Helena part to the canvas using the picture as a starting point. The brush is used to move to the canvas the emotion associated with certain face, and is in the eyes that recognizes the soul of the personage painted. When it was the opening of the new DOP, she decided to paint all directors who passed by there since 1976. And it was from this experience that she began to venture to paint known people's faces and get results that made the delights of the personages. |
